...with your bass, and some generic amp and a cab. You can wish for four effects. What are those effects, and why? It's ok to mention products, thats what I'm after

edit: and no, I wont get mad if tell why an effect is "desert island worthy" or if you ask someone why they chose one

one of them would have to be a loop pedal, as i would want to be able "jam" with a couple of layers. then it would be an envelope pedal for fun. fuzz of some discription and the fourth one would be the hardest to choose... still thinking on the fourth..

What effect is best at creating distress signals? Some pedal that is likely to give off a lot of smoke?

Other than that I'd probably cheat and bring an iPad with JamUp and loaded with a bunch of MP3s to play along to.

If I could choose any amount of effects, I would bring my whole board. Usually this question is narrowed down to two or three. Which is hard next to impossible. So yeah, my whole board Most def my B7K without question. And def some dirt. Maybe the SA OFD.

I really like Frets idea of just bringing my iPhone and Jamup interface. That way I would never really get bored and could play along with all my favorites. I would also bring the little adapter plug so I could plug it into the amp hehe.

Its somewhat of a hard choice depending.

Hmmm... I'd have to have my GR2, Red Ripper, MXR BOD and my Akai Headrush.
As long as the 'generic amp' I had was my Roland Microcube then I think that about covers everything for me

That would cover a lot of ground. Only missing pitch shifting really.

Edit: I could survive with the filter from the Mobius, so... replace the Manta with an expression pedal.
