Yousician to learn the fretboard notes

Hey everyone just wondering if anyone else uses the program youscian Iv, e had a free account for many years. During there black Friday sale I got the premium account. I know that it is not an ideal platform for learning bass. I do use other sites for that. But what I find helpful is learning the notes on the fretboard without looking at the fretboard. I have always struggled with this and continue to do so. But I will say that because I have no one to jam with it is a lot of fun to play along with the songs

Apps training you to play with your eyes instead of your ears.
Of course a beginner has to start somewhere
but I suggest abandoning the (techno) tab as quickly as possible.

Free, no Phablet or membership (other than this forum) required.
You can play along with songs on radio / streaming services.
for best results seek human instruction, of course.

Yes I'm old but I think there is more long term value in ears, bass, pencil, staff paper.

Well, everything said above is correct. My main complaint about Yousician is that the sound is electronic and lacks a definitive drum beat. Therefore, you're looking at the tabs to time your note. I'm old and learned to read notation. I guess what I like about Yousician is the different genres and exercises that go along with it.
