so i was selected as a winner, along with another student in my studio at CIM. There are two alumni from NEC, a student at CCM, and then three players from europe. should be an exciting event!

That kid is Ian Whitman, Principal Bass of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and the bass he is playing is a Don Gorman Bass with a 43" string length.
