"You've got a virus" popup ad

This has happened to me before. About 30 minutes ago, while browsing a thread here on my Android phone using Chrome, a "You've got a virus, let us fix it" ad popped up, and it wouldn't let me dismiss it without acknowledging it. I was only able to get out of it by force-stopping the browser.

Can't you guys vet your advertisers better?
