The nut did not fall far from the tree! Rocco is a bad man on bass like his Dad! Anyone who can truly lock in with Yussef Dayes is bad man because that dude is one complex drummer!

Saw them just two weeks ago! Rocco is really good and his effect board was interesting… two octave pedals cascading into each other - very cool sounds and a creative style of playing too! Yussef on this tour is definitely worth taking the time to go see.
Is that a Yamaha BB Rocco is playing now? He was mostly using his Squier Jazz on the last project.
Thanks, Doc! Man, they're just killin' it! I wound up watching a whole bunch of their other videos…then forwarded them to my (drummer) son…who'll probably forward them to all his drum students….
I'd never heard the name Yussef Dayes before—but I'm unlikely to forget him now; and he and Rocco are perfect for each other!
BTW Was it just me, or was he channeling some Paul Jackson?
Wow…Funny you mentioned Clark and Jackson: Exactly what I told my son that the two reminded me of, when I sent the videos to him!I had not thought of Paul Jackson, but he and Mike Clark had a similar connection.
