Hey TBers,

Much was said over the last couple of days over Zon guitars....I am certainly
not trying to "stir the pot" again....Martin at Zon guitars has replied several times to me
and I'm certainly not remotely involved one way or the other. I think we should all step
back and realize there is always (2) sides to a story and I don't think any of us would
want our reputation impugned in a public setting. Without knowing the facts its easy
to make quick judgements. Again, to the OP...I'm not saying there aren't legitimate
questions, but none of us know , only Joe Zon and the OP. I hope all works out for
the best for both parties.

actually you are incorrect....I told Martin I would post.....anyway tried to keep this thread clean with replies to "private message".....don't own a Zon and had never been in touch until yesterday......Geesh!!

So you're posting on behalf of a company to which you have no ties....even owning one of their instruments? Curious why you'd interject yourself in that situation.....

I'd never heard the word "Zon" before a couple days ago, except when scanning threads on the forum menu; I'm nowhere near the "custom bass" tax bracket.

Now? It all seems like a slow-speed trainwreck. I sympathize with the Zon folks. I'm sure they're beyond unhappy right now, all things considered.

any other replies will be by PM....After following the "thread" I thought I would send an email to Zon out of curiosity...Martin replied promptly....just seems like the "right" thing to do...take it as you will...nothing more

Hard to follow. Here's what I glean:

Apparently, a now-banned member had some issue with Zon. I missed that thread in my self-imposed hiatus from TB. The OP, with no ties to Zon or the banned member, contacted Zon, got a reply, and started a new thread to defend Zon.

That's all I got. Color me confused.

A user started a WARNING thread, had to payed basses that Zon didn't deliver for almost 2 years and no responding calls.

Apparently another TB user had the same problem.

The OP was banned.

Now no one knows which side the truth is.
