I've been tinkering, but I can't seem to get any distortion. The MXR bass di is suppossed to simulate that, but it doesn't sound distorted to me. The Boss OD simulation sounds good, though.

Any? Some of the default patches seem to have it on mine. Have you tried to revert to default settings (if you don't mind losing your custom patches)
