Hi guys I was wondering if you have to use the amp modeling on the zoom B3? I want to hook it up to my Ampeg SVT but I only want to use things like chorus delay and the tuner. If its possible can you please explain how to do this thanks.

Okay so I can disable the amp modeling completely? I would just like to use the tone of my SVT because it is better than the modeling obviously thanks.
You definitely can, but don't sleep on using the model anyway. SVT model has a real nice chill drive to it that I liked running into my Peavey Alphabass. But yeah, if you don't like it, turn it off.
Yup all you need to do is select effects like chorus or delay on your B3 and use it like a pedal board. You can still use the amp Sims if you want but I would disable the cabinet modeling going straight into an amp as it might sound odd ?
Like the members said above, I use my B3 as a stomp pedal and replaced the "amp" with an EQ pedal instead. You will have to place a pedal in that slot but turn it off or find a different pedal that you like!
