Zoom b3 patch Ideas

hi guys, I found your patch ideas a lot helpful, and I visited the shared folder on drive. Isn't there any option to share the patches safely through the zoom software? It would be more comfortable than the drive, and we could use our talkbass usernames to identify the patches.
Happy New year by the way :)

A curiosity firmware update patch question? Does anybody know what message the update will show if the B3 is already updated? Having much, much experience with firmware updates in general, the Zoom Corporation did not do a detailed enough job in showing what the firmware version should look like before and after a successful update. An actual real time image is much more complete than what I see. I know I'm being knit picky, but firmware can be catastrophic. End of soap box sermon. Amen.!!!!!!!!

In the global settings you can see what version you are running.
I assume if it is the latest version your update was successful.

can nyone tell me in somewhat detail, how I can share some of these patches???and use some of your guys patches???I been through the manual a dozen times, been to the help page on my b3 device page, finally got the right wire to connect it ,and after about 8 hours,(seriously!!!)I got the firmware to work, when I click on your guy's links to share in some of your posts, when I click on them, its just a bunch of writing, dont want to clutter this page with this stuff, but I know I cant be the only one who has probs getting this stuff to work, and I trust you cats can do this stuff in your sleep, thanks in advance,

Good day fellow enthusiast. Just curious if the B3 wizzards have a combination for me. I am trying to get the fuzz overdrive sound of Schacher from Grand Funk Railroad around 1969 - 1972. I have a custom bass, 18 volt active with emg jazz pups. I run two different rigs My old school Peavy Musician300 with a Messa 1X18 road cabinet and a Hartke LH1000 with a Hydrive 4X10 (love em both)

I need some help getting a modern country sound. I'm specifically looking to comp Tully Kennedy's tone in Jason Aldean's music. The only thing I know is that he uses Aguilar DB 751 amps. I'm struggling to figure out how to get the EQ right to get that strong sound he has. Here's a specific song with his tone:

Any ideas?

Alright Zoom Gurus got a project. I'm wondering how close I can get to emulating a rockabilly upright slapback tone. I'm thinking that I need to use the first two tones to get to a fat upright sound, then use the echo/delay to create that secondary tone caused by the string pop....
Any takers up to the challenge?
(...or better yet anyone already got this figured out?)
James

The analog delay is pretty nice, IMO

Just thought I'd pitch in on the giant heap of praise for this pedal.

Played in church today a fun song (This is Amazing Grace - Phil Whickam), and used a patch with a the tube screamer into the acoustic while using a pick.

I received more compliments on my sound then I have ever gotten before.

I don't know why, but at 5:30AM I decided to make a template for making patch icons. The example below shows 3 button styles. It also happens to be my current setup. I'm such a nerd.

Hey folks,

New to the forums. Just got a Zoom B3. downloaded the Edit & Share program. However, when I select Zoom online, B3 presetpatch, nothing shows in the window to the right of it. Is this correct? I'm thinking there should be a list of the presets in that window to choose from, no?

Thanks for any help.

He guys,

i recently bought a a zoom b3 and i'm loving it.

I was just wondering if anyone has a patch that resembles the bass sound of R U Mine? from the latest arctic monkeys album?
It just has this little bit of distortion. I've been trying but i can't seem to get it!

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
