Zoom B3 vs Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

Hello.
I'm thinking about getting a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I already have a Zoom B3 which i use for home recording.
Will it make big difference? I'm almost a complete noob on recording (i notice some hum sound coming from the zoom).

For music listening i use the internal PC soundcard, which i wish had a bit more volume. Will i get a bit more output from the focusrite?

I think the solution that you need is to get studio monitors.

Get the 2i4 if you can. It does better with instrument input

So... you say you want more volume. If I were you, I would connect the Zoom B3 to the computer via USB. THEN, connect your monitors to the left and right out of the Zoom B3. If you need more volume, go into the global settings on the Zoom and turn it up!
