Zoom MS-60B Firmware Update 2.0 (June 2017)

Great news ! I checked last month when updating my 50G and saw nothing for the 60B. Pretty much the same update as the 50G. Really looking forward to trying the new modulation effects.... lots of new chorus options !
The bomber can be great when you mix the effect in low compared to the bass signal so it just adds a bit of BOOM to your notes, try it!
Since there is no AC Bs Pre, the PEQ, with a low-Q, a frequency range extending down to 20hz and up to 20khz, and 20dbs of cut, should be able to function like one....I'm guessing.

Have you got the Zoom powered up? I assumed you needed it switched on but it doesn't go into the firmware update mode unless its powered off and unplugged from the mains. You just need the USB connected.
Press and hold the up/down buttons around the footswitch then plug the USB in - it should go into firmware update screen. Then run the firmware update file from the link on the download section of the Zoom site. Takes about 20 seconds to run and then you're good to go....
I finally got it to work late last night. I realized my down button was not engaging, so the pedal wasn't going into receiving mode.
Got all of my multistomp pedals updated! Freakin' loving it. I really wanted the GK model, Rat based distortion, and more revered. I need a third MS 60-B now. I already have one on my gig board and one that I carry around for my pedal board backup/fly rig. I need another for the house. The new comps are great too. Only wish list would be to have the regular octaver since it does a better OC-2 ish sound than the Bass Octaver, but that's ok.

Love to read such great news. Doing the update tomorrow. Still, out of the new fx list I found no use for most but the TS and a few more, lots of chorus/flanger stuff, didn't that die in the '90s? (just kidding) 
This was very forward thinking of Zoom to do this while they are trying to sell B3Ns.
Really stoked about the upgrade! The Flip Top is everything I remembered it to be, and the new Rack Comp has quickly replaced the 160 Comp that was my go to.

It has the ac bass pre, it has had it since the beginning.
Interesting side effect of the update: the cheap power supply I've been using for the last year doesn't seem to agree with the Zoom now. Some modulation and distortion effects are now incredibly noisy. Using a higher powered adapter fixed the problem. Maybe it requires a little more juice since the update.
Ah, gotcha. I should know not to post before coffee....
