Zoom MS-60B patch ideas!!!!!

So new patch from me!!!

this one is a crazy metal distortion and its become a quite standard distortion for me, its called blackgaze.

BlackGaze

Effect 1 160 comp: THRSH -18, Ratio 4.0, Gain 8, Knee Hard, Level 100
Effect 2 HD Hall: PreD 81, Decay 60, Mix 62, LoDmp 32, HiDmp 70, Tail on
Effect 3 Bass Metal: Gain 100, Tone 84, Level 42, Bal 100
Effect 3 Exciter: Bass 100, Trebl 0, level 100



odly enough this has been incredibly usable for me

so i finaloly got around to trying this patch and seriously everyone should try this it is awesome. it will be staying on my 60B thanks Crystalman85 looking forward to seeing more patches from yu and im definately gonna check out your b3 patches

Ok, so my last jumblefuzz is more of a drive, so decided to dial in a more muff style fuzz, since you guys got the edgy stuff workin already. I recently picked up a Musket that absolutely slays and is really versatile. I used one of its many tones as a target.

Man, jumblemind, your patches are AWESOME!! Very usable and almost perfect. Especially all the synth patches you made. Man, I've done 4 of them so far and I'm really really liking them. Thanks man! Keep up the hard work and showin is lazys how it's done haha

Ok here's an issue I'm having. I just put together some patches that jumblewinds posted. I put the progativ patch in the stomp mode. I disengage the so the light goes out but the effect is still on. It doesn't bypass the effect. How do I bypass the patch I'm in if its in stomp mode? My 70cdr does it fine. I don't get why my 60b doesn't. If I'm in a factory patch on the 60b, lets say the SVT patch. If I'm in that patch in stomp mode and I bypass it, it goes to my clean sound. But if I'm in a patch I've made, it won't bypass.

I'll list the FX from left to right as they appear on the screen, NOT in 1,2,3,4 order from right to left & I'll list the parameter values in order in the same way, toggling through them left to right from page 1. Have fun n tweak away whatever suits your fancy. PS, pardon some corny names, you can take the guy out of marketing but.....

Your badland patch is sweet man! I added the SVT sim to it. Mmmm mm! I could play around with this for hours. The synth is so solid. It reminds me of the first terminators movie music haha

Well, in stomp mode, the switch only turns on/off whichever pedal is on screen. The SVT is just a single pedal model, so you can stomp it on and off in stomp mode since it's the only pedal to be on screen. For a multi-pedal patch the only way to do the whole thing is to put a Line Selector in the effect 1 spot and leaving it on screen. Then stomping that will bypass the whole patch as an on/off. Prerogativ is only three pedals, so you have room to add the Line Selector to it.

And thanks for the synth love. I'll add some more when i get a chance. I'm really diggin the MovinStereo, just need to test it out live.

so for one i totally would love to see more patches based off of actual pedals and 2 has anyone had any luck emulating an ibanez fathed with one of these ive been trying but i just cant seem to get it just right

Anytime, dude. I figure since the zoom ms-60b has the boss metal zone model and the ampeg svt model, I can be able to create the modern bass distortion patch idea on the pedal. and I would say that if I was out of reach of owning an ebs metaldrive, the zoom ms-60b would be my 2nd choice to create that sound. If I can come up with some other patch ideas for the zoom ms-60b, I will share them here.

Please do. The few you noted above were quite awesome. I'll have to fiddle with the SVT and metal zone effects to see if I can come up with something.

Here's a new patch idea for the zoom ms-60b. this one comes from my zoom b3 patch ideas thread. this patch has a warm gritty bass sound that's suitable for hard rock and heavy metal.

Warm metal bass

Effect 1: m comp: thresh: 24, ratio: 5, level: 90, attack: 7

Effect 2: metalwrld: gain: 10, tone: 50, level: 110, balance: 25

Effect 3: acoustic: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 450hz, gain: 50, level; 100, bright: off, cab: ac1x18, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea for the zoom ms-60b. this patch is a warm preamp type patch that emulates the warm dark sounds of bartolini pick-ups.

Dark preamp

Section 1: znr: thresh: 17, detect: gtrln, level: 90

Section 2: bass boost: gain: 40, bass: 2, treble: -3, level: 50

Section 3: bass pre: bass: 3, treble: 4, level: 70, mid: 5, freq: 400hz, level: 80
