Zoom MS-60B patch ideas!!!!!

Yeah I know, but man you came up with some killer synths! I'm keeping most of them. I can't remember which which ones you called them but a few of them are very usable and sound great. Good job man.

I didn't create synth patches here. I did a few of them on the zoom b3 patch ideas thread. majority of the times, I post overdrive/distortion patches, modulation patches, and sometimes I post preamp patches.

you guys make awesome patches im working on some new ones myself but i have weird tastes and play Post-rock, Shoegaze, Blackgaze, Noise Music, and Atmospheric Black metal so yeah alot of them might not be so useful for you guys, but they are for me and im loving the ones you guys have been making. ive actually been using Crystalman85's EBS Metaldrive patch live. so thanks man i specifically use it alot with reverb.

Yeah I was mistaken. I just saw so many patches posted I got confused. I liked the ones you posted though. Pretty good stuff. I've been having a lot fun with my 60b and 70cdr. Great tools to have in the arsenal.

patch idea i just created. this patch is an INSANE synth tone.

i call it Cerberus

Z-Tron: Sense 1 Reso 5 Dry 90 level 92

Bass Octave: Oct 35 Dry 100 Tone 8 Low Mid 4 Level 100

Bass Synth: Decay 75 Wave PWM Reso 7 Synth 89 Dry 100 Level 89

Bass Muff Gain 82 Tone 95 Level 45 Mode bsBST Bal 65

I liked this tone, but found it even more to my liking by replacing the Muff with the Metal. Thanks for posting it Necropain.

Glad you enjoyed the patch idea. this is the patch I would create and use for live performances if I happen to own a zoom ms-60b. I did first created a patch like that on my zoom b3 and it definitely duplicates the ebs metaldrive sound. it also my ideal bass distortion. thanks for giving this patch idea a try. it's really great for hard rock and heavy metal.

Looks like my cover project added "You Dropped A Bomb On me" by The Gap Band.

I'm going to play the synth bass line... although I understand that the bass in the original is a keyboard synth (a Nord? Moog?)

I have an MS-60B but no real "synth bass" experience. Can anyone suggest an effect chain for me to play with? I don't need to get "exact" but I'd like to get in the ballpark.

Thank you in advance... also, I'll post whatever solution I find to Soundcloud along with my settings.

Check the rest of the backlog of this thread, there's some really good synth patch ideas some have posted.

Here's a bunch of patches I've programmed over a few hours over a few days so grab a coffee, your 60B & see what fits ya! For the record, I used my Thumb b/o 5 in passive mode, p/ups centred, finger style & I play over the rear p/up 95% to cop a Jacoesque type tightness & feel, especially as the synth sounds require clean articulation. Still the odd bleep, bloop, quack here n there with some patches due to muting & attacking technique but by n large not bad. I'm an 80's guy, sans mullet, so I was trying for a Howard Jones, Swing Out Sister, Stevie Wonder, EWF cleaner type synth vibe as I'm not a fan of OD/Fuzz & Dist type sounds mostly. These days I'm a hired gun for cover bands so I need to have versatility & the MS60B is a godsend. I'll list the FX from left to right as they appear on the screen, NOT in 1,2,3,4 order from right to left & I'll list the parameter values in order in the same way, toggling through them left to right from page 1. Have fun n tweak away whatever suits your fancy. PS, pardon some corny names, you can take the guy out of marketing but.....

That's it for now, more to come in the future. Glen

There a few here that are just straight awesome IMO. I've dialed in all the synth patches into my 60b. They're still in there. I like them a lot.

I'll call this one "Arry". I was playing along to "Piece Of Mind" today & this one did the trick. It started out as Crystalman's Geddy patch & got tweeked a lot the past 2 weeks or so. 1.
