Zoom MS-60B patch ideas!!!!!

Have you scrolled through this entire thread? There were some throughout I believe. I remember seeing certain ones used more often than others as well.
Here's a new patch Idea I came up with. this patch has a classical warm bass sound that's suitable for any genre.
Bassman
Effect 1: znr: thresh: 17, detect: gtrln, level: 90
Effect 2: bottom b: bass: 4, treble: 3, level: 90
Effect 3: b-man: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 100, deep: off, cab: bm4x12, mix: 50

I've been using my 60b lately set on the SVT patch tweaked to my liking through my ampeg B50R and man, does my Squier P with EMG-PAX's sound smooth as silk!! I can't stop playing it. I've got the mid bumped up to 8, the bass and treble set at 2, mid-f at 6.3k hz, gain at 33, level at 22 and I have the speaker sim set to the BM412 and mix at 100 with the ultra set to high. Oh it's so sweet. For my setup anyway. The is maxed as well.
Here's a patch idea I came up with. this patch has a vintage distortion sound resembling a distorted acoustic bass amp.
Warm distortion
Effect 1: m comp: thresh: 23, ratio: 5, level: 90, attack: 7
Effect 2: bass bb: gain: 17, bass: 4, treble: -3, blend: 40, level: 75
Effect 3: acoustic: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 3, midfq: 400hz, gain: 45, level: 90, bright: off, cab: ac1x18, mix: 50
Warm distortion
Effect 1: m comp: thresh: 23, ratio: 5, level: 90, attack: 7

Here's one for a fun, touch sensative overdrive to any of the amp models that I've been experimenting with:
Run the Limiter after the amp. It overdrives the patch if the amp gain is up. It actually sounds nice for some amp-type distortion.

I left everything stock so far except threshold. I have landed right around 26 for that. I really enjoy it with the Hartke and Aguilar amp sims. You get the clear tones and then a break up with the Limiter after it.
Limiter after this is a good idea... With a true valve amp, there is a natural compression that accompanies breakup ... Not so much with the zoom models... You could even try different compressors and see what the results are like.
That's some good thinking. I run a Limiter after the fuzz and preamp pedals in some of my dirt patches, right before the amp sim for similar reasons. Might try putting them all the way to the end now.

effect 4: 160 Comp: THRSH -31 Ratio 5.6 Gain 11 Knee Hard Level 100
Tweak the Sensitivity ("Sense") and Peak on the A-Filter according to your play style to optimize the open and closing of the note. I have mine dialed in for half note plucking with a heavy pick.

Yeah man, er mon. I don't think I've posted this one yet, but since liveburning was asking, this is muff style fuzz that I based on an old Grey Stache I have that's a bit darker than the newer one I owned for a bit.

Yes I'm a relic left from the 80's but I never delved that deeply into individual players sounds as I never tried to emulate any of them via fx. My only experience is with synth type sounds as I played in several 80's-90's cover/tribute bands & I had to cop synth tones, which I mostly used my Korg G5 or Boss SYB3 for. Still have the G5 but rarely break it out due to the MS60B now, which is why I came up with those patches. I'll post some updates & new patches soon but they'll mostly be in the same-ish style as already in the thread, with a couple of Marcus/Level 42 type tone patches. Hope this helps but sorry about JT & DD sounds, great tone & player, one of my inspirations as a kid for sure.
