Zoom MS-60B patch ideas!!!!!

Nope, the USB port is only for firmware updates.
Someone did hook up a prototype MIDI controller that can select patches, but other than that you can't use the port for anything.

I understand that the B1on uses 16-bit conversion instead of 24. Maybe the new samples aren't compatible?

Nope, just a brain fart I guess. I could have sworn I read that in the initial product announcement.
Which raises the obvious question: so why DIDN'T they issue an upgrade yet?
Any one knows if you can achieve - note "Hold" with this pedal, where it will indefinitely reproduce the played note (no repeats, just straight note)?
Man... this has been my dream for a while now... to sustain the crap out of fatter low notes, as an outro and such.

So now that I sat down with this, it doesn't have as many effects, amps and the such. Hasn't been updated like the other pedals....ugh. I wish it some of the delays that the B3 has, guess I'll figure it out.

Line Sel > both knobs 2 pm
BaGraphicEQ > knobs set left to right: 0, 0, 0, 0, 5, 6, 7, 100
Phaser > rate at "note" x18 (almost full on), Color at 4 stg and Level 100

So the guitar version has all the good pedals and oodles of stuff on it. Lovely, hey Zoom...please update this.
Oodles of stuff not terribly useful for bass. Fun, but not very useful. Meanwhile, the 60b has the bass preamp sims (avalon, fishman, sansamp, bb preamp), bass amp sims, bass eq, 160 Comp, Limiter, Z tron, A filter, ...
I may have said so before, but I have also a B1on, which has become my main tool for home rehearsal, but the ruggedness and patch change system of the MS-60B makes it my choice for the band rehearsals and gigs. I have decided that the MS-60B will serve as my "preamp", and then I'll use 3 pedals (drive, phaser, boost) to be able to switch these 3 FX with my feet, regardless of overall sound.
I recently found a sound on the B1on that I liked so much that I named it BasicGood. It is a very simple sound, but I like the way it makes the sound bigger without sacrificing clarity. Here it goes:
M Comp: TRSH:35, Ratio:7, Level:100, ATTCK:6
Exciter: Bass:30, Trebl:40, Level:100
BassGraphicEQ: 50Hz:3, 120Hz:2, 400Hz:1, 500Hz: 0, 800Hz:1, 4.5kHz:2, 10kHz:3, Level:100
It uses 3 slots, so it doesn't leave much to spare, but for my use with some outboard pedals, I think it's great, but of course it also depends on your bass and your playing. I think it works well with both fingers and pick. With a PJ bass with tone on full, J vol on full and P on about 80%, I love it. It gives a great balance between the deep bass and the definition of the attack. If I want fuller and fatter, I do P volume on full and turn the J all the way down. Still defined but with that deep rumble a bit more pronounced.
NB: The use of the M Comp ensures a pretty consistent level when you play, BUT you may want more dynamic control in your picking. Then you can try without it, but you may have to turn down the Exciter Level a bit if it gets too hot. Or you may of course dial in a less controlling Comp setting.

I had the guitar version for a while. It did have more pedals, but not necessarily useful stuff on guitar or bass, even though some were nice to play with. The 60B is still a better deal, IMO.
