How does the k-switching work? Does it select the outer coils, or the inner coils, or can you choose either? (I've been playing L2000s for decades, but I've never had one with the k-switch mod)

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Day job, then band practice!!

The K mod replaces the middle switch with a 3-way. Middle position selects the outer coils. This is the only single coil option. The forward switch still selects Neck/Both/Bridge (as an L2000). The middle switch forward and back act as on the standard 2-way. So Series/Single(outer)/Parallel on the middle switch.

Nice! I wanted a Fatboy ever since I was a kid and saw Arnold riding one in Terminator 2. I recently sat on a 2018 Fatboy and couldn't believe how light it was.

I'm coming after that L2500 beauty if it hasn't sold before I can move mine...funny thing is I had no intention of getting rid of it until I saw yours.
