I have another Stambaugh 5-string bolt-on bass on the way, and I think this one's going to be too far down the list to get an appropriate amount of use after that. Taking pictures of it still made my heart kind of hurt so I'm not sure this'll stay up and I'm definitely not in a rush to sell it. It'd be great to get into someone's hands who will use it a ton.
It'll be 10 years old in March. All of my fives from Chris are made to feel like a 5-string Stingray spacing-wise, so if you like that you'll like this! It has sort of a bolt-on Warwick vibe, but a little smoother. The bridge pickup is back further than a Stingray, so the "bite" / "growl" is more Jazz than MusicMan.

One thing to note is that I did play this thing a bunch, and between the oil finish and softer spalted maple top it collected a decent amount of wear. I've tried to picture as much as I could, but there's a decent amount of wear around where I rest my right-hand thumb, a medium-sized dent on the top horn, and then a bunch of little dings around the edges of the body. It's nothing that's noticeable from any further away than holding it, but it's definitely not a museum piece.
It'll come with a case. If I get my new bass from Chris before this sells I'll include the one he sends (a wooden TKL, generally) otherwise I'll ship it with a plastic Gator case. Add $100 to ship it in the States, open to shipping elsewhere. Local pickup's fine, too.
Here's a video clip from a while ago. I think this is before I swapped the bridge pickup, and it was a Nordstrand MM 5.4 quad-coil. Same general vibe though. At some point I'll probably make another video and run through the various sounds you can get out of it.
