Double Bass TBDB Ranters - Celebrity Narration

This came up in another thread and I think it's the best non-sequitor, waste of time idea since the TBDB FAQs (stickied in the Humor forum). I'm going to check out some YouTube and choose my narration voice carefully, then post the instructions in my signature tag. If you're a crusty TBDB veteran who goes off now and again, I encourage you to do the same. In fact, if you are (you know who you are), but you don't, you may be assigned a Celebrity Spirit Voice Narrator by a to-be-formed committee. If you're okay with being read as Paul Lynde, then not to worry.

Whenever drurb or kungfu go off on somebody it's fun to imagine their posts in the voice of Paul Lynde.

Did I go off on him? I thought I tempered the sarcasm this time...and I'd much prefer to hear Christopher Walken narrate my posts, in case anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas.

Oh...I like this game. Let's all choose a celebrity spirit voice for our rant posts. I need time to think this over!

You get to be Ben Stein, Troy. Or maybe Louis Black on reds.

Someone should be Gary Busey "Not that it's of any consequence, but you may call me Mr. Joshua"

I'm starting an OT thread. This is too good not to see through and I wouldn't want to hijack this beautiful thread any further. See you there.

I've given it careful consideration and I would have really liked to have been Lewis Black, but as much as I love him, that's not really me. Jeff Goldblum is tempting as well, but in my heart of hearts, I know that I am ... and I choose...

John Malkovich

Updating my signature.

Jake deVilliers, that's who!

Darn. I was hoping to be voiced by Ricardo Montalban ("The all new Volare with Corinthian leather seats.") or James Earl Jones ("Luke, I am your father.") or Lorne Greene ("Go back to the house, boys.") - you know, one of those guys with great voices... :D

I was thinking Joe Pesci but being a greasy Italian already that's too easy but that made me think about Marissa Tomei... <drool> focus.... so then I googled Jessica Biel... but then I realized I was distracted by all the interweb has to offer so then I thought about Olivia Wilde... and then I was like 'dammit keep your mind on task Piane' then I googled photos of Mila Kunis... crap, stay... focused...

So I'll take Latka.
