Hey Everyone
If anybodys interested in hearing the new Fender Precisions I have 4 rough tracks posted at my bands myspace.

All songs played aggressive fingerstyle to get a pick like grind.
Dr stainless Steel lowriders 45 to 105.
Played through Swr Bass 750 head and one Swr Goliath2 cab.
Recorded on 2 channels,1 for direct from the Head D.i. output and 1 for condensor mike used for cabinet placed 3 feet away. Mix is 75% d.i. 25% cab.

Actually the stock Fender strings are pretty cool. Lots of midrange texture and a nice top end ping to the attack. The e string is taper core so the e string gets a good growl. Also the fender strings are round core so they feel nice and are a little brighter than a typical nickle coated string.

Its a rosewood fretboard and alder body. Eq on the SWR is flat except for treble control turned up. Cabinet has the horn off. No eq on the control board either. I'm clipping the preamp tube on the head to get the overdrive and playing real hard halfway between the pickup and bridge.

This is for sure off topic but I'm new here and have a question about posting for networking purposes. Is there anywhere here to post for sharing members myspace pages or thier band websites? I would like to check out other members music and see what thier up to musically. Hope I haven't broken any rules here by asking this question.

I've found that looking in peoplse signature lines, and also the "homepage" link in the Profile sections can lead you to a lot of myspace, or band type pages. I've found some cool stuff by hunging around the profile sections.

Personaly, I have my band pages in my sig, and my personal page linked from the profile secton.

Hey,
New version of song "From The Ashes" posted with guitar and lyrics. It's the 1st song on the player at the myspace page. I think I got the bass sitting pretty well in the mix. I've played this bass live recently and it cuts through just as well on the live recordings. It's been a long search but I've had this bass for almost 8 months now and I still love it. "It's the one".
