My Astro has some electrical "issues"....I think these had Lucas electronics in em like my '79 Jag had...

Cool skinny necked geek though...

Yes, made in Italy with very skinny necks. Take some getting used to plus whoever invented floating bridges should be hunted down and shot IMO.

So, now my dilemma on the new one I got in is what pickup to put in there to replace the dead one (which I believe to be non-original anyway)?

I was thinking of one of Fred Hammon's Dark Stars but then I saw this one eBay.....

Hmmmn what to do, what to do???

Yeah..great boat paddle in the event of a flood, now if it only had a Bongoish headstock on it you could paddle and open cans at the same time!! That would be something ehh??

:D

Is this one up for sale yet Steve?.

Yes and no...now don't shoot me or anything but I think I may do some parts swapping. That Astro I have is not as clean as that photo makes it appear. It has some heavy checking/finish cracks in the body and the electronics are funky in it so my tech has it and is trying to get it functioning properly.

Anyone know where I might find a schematic?

I had vox for a short time. It wasteardrop with greenish burst. It was missing one pickup. After spending several months hunting for an impossible to find original pup I gave up and sold it to a shop in chicago for twice what I paid for it :D
