I can't believe no one has done this one yet. I'll take #1, and assign numbers as they come in!

Here's mine. A 5 string Sonus 519, with a spalted maple top. I'm loving this bass so far.....

ByTheWay, "embellisher": Gee, what a nice bass - fretless Zon must be really sounding ... present, punchy??

It has a piezo bridge. Combine that with 3 band EQ on the magnetics and 2 band on the piezos, and it can get any fretless sound you can imagine, from a very convincing upright emulation to Michael Manring.

The tone I hear in my head is pretty close to Jaco, with a bit more bottom. This bass has that, in spades.

I have played fretless basses from almost every manufacturer, some costing 3 times what I paid for my Zon. None of them better IMO. The only ones that came close were F Bass and Roscoe.

Nice Zon's, guys!!!:bassist:

And Tom is added! Tom, this is one of those that just KILLS live. When I got it, I wasn't so sure of the solo tone, but after a gig...I just think it's friggin magnficent. Sits in the mix extremely well, and is loud and clear, without being overbearing. We definitely gotta get together soon. You have to check out my Cirrus too, and I'm sure you have LOTS for me to check out.
