REALLY Cheap Ibanez ATK's!

Man,I just wish I could make myself like these basses.I don't know what it is,the bridge maybe?I don't know. The one with the koa top would look absolutely awesome with black hardware.I've always tried to have an open mind about music in general.Whether it be about gear, musicianship,it doesn't matter. But that damn bass, there's something about it.I don't know.Once upon a time,I had a Soundgear 800.Absolutely hated the neck on that thing.I think it turned me against Ibanez basses. Can I be convinced? We'll see,it would make a good backup bass in 5 string version.I've heard nothing but good about them.Does the preamp, pickups sound good?

I know. I saw these last night and it made me a little sad, because I can't take advantage of this price right now. The koa MM/J is a STEAL right now, and I think its discontinued, so its a last chance deal to get one new.

This one also caught my eye: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-ATK300RSPBK-Bass-Guitar?sku=516147 A rosewood ATK really calls my name.

I keep telling myself I've got plenty of four string basses, and then I see deals like this.

I'm a little disappointed that the 700 ash model is only $299 after I paid nearly $700 for it almost two yars ago. It's worth every penny even now, it's been a great performer on all levels, but I somehow feel it's been devalued. Resale certainly won't be much considering.

The ad says for a sound sample "listen to the work of Chris Norris on "As I Lay Dying." I tried Lime Wiring this song (size 5,611 KB) and was alerted that a Trojan had been found. Be careful.

You could always just legally use iTunes? :scowl:

If anyone is looking for a good MM tone, this is the way to go. And at 1/5 the price of a MM, cant pass it up. I just bought my new rig though, so too bad.. :bawl:
