So tempted to get the Koa one.
Do they still weigh 39 pounds? That was my only real issue with these basses.
EDIT: I went ahead and got the Koa 750KA. The price is just too silly to pass up.

Man,I just wish I could make myself like these basses.I don't know what it is,the bridge maybe?I don't know. The one with the koa top would look absolutely awesome with black hardware.I've always tried to have an open mind about music in general.Whether it be about gear, musicianship,it doesn't matter. But that damn bass, there's something about it.I don't know.Once upon a time,I had a Soundgear 800.Absolutely hated the neck on that thing.I think it turned me against Ibanez basses. Can I be convinced? We'll see,it would make a good backup bass in 5 string version.I've heard nothing but good about them.Does the preamp, pickups sound good?

If they weren't active basses, I'd probably bite. Necks are a bit chunky for my wee sausage fingers, also...
man....that is soooo cheap....ack. and here i am trying to save money....but patriotism says i should buy buy buy...and my fingers hunger for another ATK...
why must it be now?
my finger is on the trigger. will i pull it?
Is that hard to bypass the pre?
Its so awesome. I am looking for a mixture of the Nick oliveri, Mickey Shuman, Kim Deal, and Krist novoselic tones. All my favorite bassists.
i realize most of them (except novoselic) play p basses, do you think i could get a similar tone out of a ATK?
