REALLY Cheap Ibanez ATK's!

My problem is that the koa looks geekier than the less-geeky natural (no, I am not a fan of decorative furniture veneers on instruments and regard them as abominations, especially when they're this blatantly conspicuous), but I might actually use that extra J pickup. :hmm: Oh, the agony of non-ideal options!

Yes, that was my review! For the record, that is the Wolfman holding the bass (the title of the review is 'Attack of the Koa Monster'). :cool:

Me too, though judging from the above pictures it's just another Korean Cor-Tek, same as a couple of dozen other instruments under ten different brands I have here and with which I'm fine. [shrug].

I just ordered the koa one after all. :rollno: $314.99 after a 10% discount I had with them for some screwup they did on a previous order.

At least I didn't order one of each.

Maybe it'll be here by...oh...Easter.

I don't know if it that thick, as a P-bass I mean. But if it is the same as this years ATK750 then it's 21mm thinck at the 1st fret, and 24mm at the 12th. according to ibanez web site.
