No really, I was going to give a serious response to this about how this question could be answered with a search and that the best bass for metal is about as definitively answered as the best bass for jazz, funk, reggae, or any other so called genre. Then I read the first post.

Nice trolling.

Given that GE should be taken with a grain of salt sometimes, I think he was just making fun of people that constantly post the "WHAT KIND OF BASS IS GOODZ FOR THE BR00TALZ METULZ".

On a serious note what you were originally going to post could be easily misconstrued for trolling as well.
