At first she said "an Ebay bass," but I had to have her be more specific so last night, after the 20th time of me asking her, she said a P Bass.

So, what did your wife/girlfriend say when you asked her what the best bass for metal was?

At my first date with any girl I would (and do) start by making it clear that I play the bass and not the (usual) guitar.
Right now I'm single, so guess I'll post again later

My wife would probably decide based on color. I'll ask her later, but I bet she'll say "the blue one." That would be my G&L L-1500, not a bad choice at all!

Awesome! She sure is a keeper.

I woke my wife up after the Coyotes/Red Wings game and asked her. She told me P Bass I think just to shut me up.

I'll ask mine when she gets home. I bet she says P-bass, because she knows I don't have one. She saw a guy with one that was the same color scheme as my J. I told her it was a P bass. Now to her every bass that isn't mine is a P. She has underwear with guitars on them, she said they were basses. I argued "no, those are hollow body guitars," to which she said, "they're P-basses!"
