WOW! That's really nice...but that thumb-rest is like a stake thru my heart
I've sold off some Peaveys that were not on my must have list.
I still have two more Furys than I need.
Gonna make my gutted red Foundation into something different with a T40 pickup.
Gonna make one of my Gen 3 Furys into a PeaveyBird with a Thunderbird pickup where the split P pup is now.
Meanwhile I will keep my eye out for a neck through Peavey or an old Yamaha BB neck through.
I still have two more Furys than I need.

No "must have" list for me, with the exception of the PJ Forum I've owned them all.
There are no Peavey basses that you would have to keep in your keeper pile?
What ones of all your basses (Peavey or not) would have to stay when others are going out the door because they are not must have basses?
Gotta have a single coil early 50's P Bass, several ways to get that done.
Gotta have a split coil P Bass and the Gen 2 Peavey Fury would be my choice there.
Gotta have a StingRay bass.
Gotta have a Peavey Gen 1 Fury
Gotta have a Peavey Patriot.
Lots of folks say ya gotta have a Jazz bass, I don't need one though.

For Peaveys, there is no way I will ever rid myself of my 84 Foundation, 87 Patriot (RicRiot) and the T45/Foundation (T42.5) mashup bass.
The others are all staying unless something much better comes along.

I feel I now have my must haves. US Milly 5 maple board, US Milly 5 pau ferro board, SF Foundation 5.

I had one - ordered it in fall of 1988.... cost $250 then (total)
2 notes when shopping... at the time we were told to put tung oil on them (bad idea)... they get beaten up as we were learning to slap (by the Gstring)

- Koa RJIV would be a cool guilty pleasure bass (they take a long setup time to get right)... most of the bursts wouldn't work for my americana or church gigs --- I'd love to try BEAD tuning with contact cores some time.. Note: the koa unity had periodic neck warping and stability issues
- Fretless BQuad5 with everything in tact and operational (all Black -like Norm Stockton played) (I'm guessing I could figure out a way to keep that lower horn form stabbing me... I'd never gig it as the bridge system always concerned me.
Gee, that is difficult. I have been playing the GV in church and enjoying it very much but my Bubinga top Cirrus 5 just kills and then there is the Wenge top Cirrus 6. Oh, and my Millennium, I can't forget that one.

GV - that specific GV is a very cool one...
Cirrus -- I'm with you owned a 6 redwood (perfect shape)... I couldn't get it clean enough to chord
Millenium - I have a single unicorn survivor that has stuck around for the longest

There are times I chord behind a legato line or back filling for a soloing duo mate
I'm gear spoiled so makes the decision easy
That, my friend, is a very difficult question. I can narrow it down to Super Ferrite 80's era basses. The only exception to that being a Gen 2 Fury which is on my wish list. For now my MIJ Squier SQ Precision fills that void.
The Dyna and Foundation I have are rosewood boards. I will say that Peavey's rosewood from the 80's is exceptional, they must have had a good source. That said, the maple boards are also great. Peavey just made damn good basses in that era...it's hard to find a flaw with them. Every one I own is under 9 lbs with a wonderful neck profile and great balance. What's not to like?
If I had to grab only one in a fire, it would probably be the Ash Foundation. If I could take 2, I'd add the Ash Gen 1 Fury. Patriot next. Dyna next.
