I was gona jump all over it but, my wife just got her lay off notice, so I can't really justify another bass right now. I know it's not a lot of cash, but when your struggling, every penny counts. Too bad, I was really looking forward to grabbing it.

Hmm, I have one of these on the hook right now, not sure if I'm gona jump at it. From what I could find on the net, they seem very bright sounding, not much warmth to them. Am I wrong? I'm not a big bass snob, open to anything, and they look like a well crafted guitar.

I have one right here, Hofner Galaxie short scale re-issue, picked it up on a whim, sounds huge for the size of it, plays nice, could use a bit of fret work, and an intonation set up, but it's pretty cool. I think I will flip it though, and get something a little more standard size, as I'm 6'5...

No, it's a re-issue, but a pretty cool little rig, I only paid $225. for it, it needs a set up and the intonation done, but I think I might hang on to it for a while for sure.

We all gota start somewhere bud, I can't even remember what my first bass was, but I loved it, and it was just a no name hunk of junk.

Took a while, but I did it. After getting it all on, I measured again and somehow, on the pick up cover I ended up 1/16 off from one side to the other, but all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

I'm about to attempt the same thing, kinda nervous about doing it, I've bin sitting here staring at it for about 2 hours now.

Cool looking bass bud, I may be trading my Music Man Stingray HH, for a Fender Roadworn Jazz with upgraded pic ups, and a 51 Pbass, and some cash. We'll see what happens
