    LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #50!!!

Emailed Lakland a couple of days ago about getting one. Is this normally how people go about ordering one of these? Have got a couple responses. Service seems good. Just going through all the general talking at the moment. Can't wait. (I think I'm going to end up with an exact copy of Markus's...

should I teach her left or right handed??

I'd try and persuade her to play right handed, purely because it would make it so much easier for her to go nuts on GAS :D

I'm fairly sure they would have fixed it for me, but I didn't have time to wait. If I was going to buy a bass it was going to be a walk in - walk out.

Well they had 1 USA and 2 Skylines. They all had it, but the USA was by far the worst.

Scared to buy $1000 bass b/c Economic Collapse could be 2011

Buy a sturdy bass that doubles as a weapon (end of days/zombie apocalypse protection) and then you really will be protecting yourself properly.

USA Lakland Owners: Any Problems Getting Really Low Action?

I played 3 Laklands yesterday at Sam Ash in NYC and I thought they were pretty bad.. ALL of them had frets that hung over the fretboard. Literally. They would scratch your hand. 1 was really quite bad.

So I went back to Sam Ash and found the Laklands (3 of them) and had a play. They ALL have frets that hang over the fretboard. It makes it uncomfortable and cheap feeling. 1 was really quite bad. Also tried some Sadowskys. Nice, but nothing like the Lakland I played at Rudys.

So I went there, to the address on the site, and I realised 2 things. It's Saturday. Closed. Duh. Second thing, is that it wasn't even there. That was a new location on the map, and they are still down in Brooklyn. boo
