Yes Wave Rider, I am aware of tht. I jus want the option of connecting a 4th cab. My Subways 1x12s I always take with me. But, I have other cabs I want to bring on bigger shows in addition. Also, maybe thinking about the Mesa Strategy also. But, those KT88s are expensive to replace.

Probably slightly cleaner sound with (2)1x15 cabs if your hammering B string in loud settings. Than again.. Surface area between those 2 configurations is a hedge over 1000 sq inches in area. 2 tweeters vs 1 is main difference..

Ummmm...... Has anyone noticed Mesa has added 3 new cabinets to the Subway series??? A 2x12, 4x10 and a 60lb 2x15!!! The 2x12 and 2x15 should be on everyones list! Not sure when they will be released.. But, i know where some of my tax money is goinn. tht sexy 2x15. Mesa has done it again!!!

That's 2 low bro. A typical 4 string American Jazz bass used is that price. SR 1806 sounds better, looks better, has more tonal options, and of course its 6 strings. If that bass was made in America. $2k eazzyyyy!!!
