So once again I post my US 2005 L-2000 Bass in classic threetone sunburst. This is my second G+L bass. The first one I bought in 1984 had a damaged neck so I had to sell it. 15 years later I bought this one. Since then this is one of my favourite basses.

Yes, it´s number 603. I bought this bass 1997 for less money. At this time nobody wanted an expensive Rickenbacker like the CS. The Seller was very happy, finally someone bought this bass:D. I guess, you won´t find many of them in Germany. It´s the best sounding Rickenbacker of my collection...

The body of the Tribute looks like Padouk or something like that way. I´m not sure, Mahagony have got finer grain. But a Tribute with a Mahagonybody that would be cool.

A JB :rollno:? Who needs another Jazzbass? I´m sure this bass will sound great without doubt but I would have expect an upgrade of the EL TORO or L-1000 bass:hmm:. We will see.

Hi everyone, great Forum this is my first post here. I was playing a G+L L2000 since 1983. I had to sale it 1988, because of the damaged neck and I needed the money for a Tobias Bass. But something was missing so I had to buy a G+L L2000 Bass again in 2006. Great bass, great tone. A must have.
