I'm kind of surprised there isn't a pedal that wouldn't do anything to your sound, but spits out control voltage or expression based on level input. Kind of like half of an envelope filter, but where you can have it control any other pedal's expression input.

In: Red Panda Particle I don't think I've discovered even half of what the Particle can do. Favorite thing so far is probably rev mode with the knob set in freeze territory. Ooh, I should see how it works in a feedback loop.

I believe the Gig Rig loopers have level pots for each loop.

Pretty sure I'm going to end up with one of these at some point. At least I never bought a Freeze, which this seems to eclipse.

So far it seems pretty cool. The delay setting does sort of a combination delay + reverb, which I don't think I've seen in a single pedal before. There's a lot to explore still!

I discovered I can use the DBD's bypass as a boost. I bypass the high band and dial in my basic distortion sound using the low side, but the high side has its level set higher, so if I shut off the high bypass it gives me the dirty mid/high boost I've been using other pedals for in the past.
