They are rare. I've got one but it's a keeper. They do make them every once and a while though, based on their completed instrument history. There is a 17.5mm spacing Holly Imperial II that comes up every once in a while for pretty cheap.

This is a super solid spec. The wenge neck is the trick- my wenge-necked MG is special. Love the flamed ebony choice too!

Yes all of them have Hipshot ultralites or (even lighter) Gotoh GB350s. All direct replacement, but use the original screws rather than the ones than come with the tuners.

If this was a 5 string I’d have purchased it already. What a great neck/pickup/electronic combo. Agree with ahadl2500 that’s Growlers sound best as fretlesses, but disagree about the sound- with stock electronics I struggled to ever get them to cut through a mix.

My MG with a maple body and ash block is definitely in this category. I don’t have it set up for bolt-on like attack/punch as it has super light strings and very low action, but if I put heavier strings and raise the action it can sound like a bolt-on. It’s my only elite that really does that...

I do like my Foderas with Lane Poors better but I wouldn’t swap my SDs in the others. They sound too good to chance it. All the Foderas where someone has swapped SDs for Aguilars always sound much more anemic to me. Very clear, but I don’t care for how weak the bottom end feels.
