I think we alla gree that it depends on the crowd (A buddy's country band used to pull out scorpions and black sabbath, and KILL with em) but there ARE songs that kill the set no matter what.... As mentioned before, "Money" kills things... mainly cause people like it, but not many can dance...

Hey guys, I am planning out a custom build bass at the moment, and am thinking that a 36" scale would be nice... I really like the positioning on my ex factor E string (with the extension its 36" scale) but was wondering if anyone other than D'addario makes strings that will work on a 36"...

Being a big guy (tall and broad shouldered) and also a BIG guy (Fatty) I prefer a bigger bass. 34" scale tends to feel a little small to me (even though i am a guitarist first/bassist second) I am hankering for a dingwall or one of them Knuckle guitarworks quake basses... mmmmm

Having a tech build ramps for your bass is a labour of true friendship... I have ONE customer i built some ramps for, and NOBODY ELSE WILL EVER GET ONE... ME INCLUDED! :D
