It's been said, but I will echo: Skjold Mine is very low and perfectly playable. Pete is also a pleasure to deal with, and can set his basses up at whatever height you prefer.

I have a Skjold CS5, and I have to agree. The bass has a great variety of tonal options, and plays better than any other bass I've tried. They are also fairly light. Pete is a pleasure to deal with, and has a great way of translating what you tell him you want for sound then building it.

I think it is funny how Pete is #10. I'll take a number, mine should be here any minute (out for delivery!). :hyper:

I would like a Skjold EUB please, can I commission one? Shoot me an email if you are interested Pete, I know it is outside your current scope, but you could consider it R&D on my dime. Seems like it might be quite a bit easier to build once you have the basic design/templates worked out. But...
