Interesting! Is this one of those instances where you knew you wanted both of those before you went in to haggle (having seen them on a previous visit or online), or did it just spontaneously happen after you were in there and saw both of them? Do you like one more than the other?

I think this is a pretty solid philosophy, and one that I am slowly starting to adapt- the one out one in policy. A good friend of mine has basically lived by this for years, and I always kind of admired it, except for the occasional instances where he got rid of an instrument or amp to pay for...

As an owner and lover of a 90's Road Ready 2x15 cab, I can only imagine A, how good the Road Ready 8x10 sounds, and B, how heavy it is! Any pics? (As you said it's the older style Road Ready series, correct? Don't know that I've seen the old 8x10 RR before- or if I have, it's been a very long...

Are any of you using the regular non-bass version of the Diamond Compressor? If so, how does it sound- I'm wondering how big the difference between the two is?

I have five wraps on my A string and it's rattling/buzzing from the tuning key area. I was thinking about trying one of those stealth guides to see if it solved the rattling issue.

Wow, even with the "blown transformer," $750 (that he offered to sell it to you for versus his initial $950 price) is hard to beat with a flight case included. I wish I was even remotely close to DFW.

Yeah Zach (and Pinback) is (are) awesome. I've seen them two or three times and he definitely kills it on the bass!
