I used a A/B switch with the bass driver di. I use the di-2112 for dirty cutting tones and if I want a cleaner tone, I switch to the bass driver DI. This works for me

Now that I've used the di-2112 a couple of times for rehearsals, I can say it's great. Perfect to cut through the mix. My other band members are happy with it as well. I plugged it in the first time and they were all stunned. The only thing they complain about is the volume. I like to play loud ;)

Yes, I own the rack unit as well. I played the di today, through a mixing table with my headphones and it's definitely a beast. What I like is the internal switch, both the deep and drive section goes through one output if you activate the switch.I'm really curious to see what it does through...
