Didn't want to put too many on one reply. Here's a cool trick. The Gibson bridge spacing was too narrow for the P-Bass style neck and pickup, so I adjusted it. I ground new slots and filled the old ones with solder. The back is from the donor bass's damaged ribs. It retains all the original...

Ok, sorry I got all butthurt about all the negative comments on this build. Looks like no haters in this thread. The build is only a week or two from completion, so I'll post a few random build pics here. Just finished getting the color right and the final coat of varnish done. Got the decal...
