I think the most important thing to remember is that no one is perfect - not even yourself! There will always always always be stuff that could have been done better :)

I seriously considered buying a TH500, but in the end went instead with a Genz Benz stl 6.2.... such a nice amp and super lightweight and easy to pack around! Combined with a Genz Benz 210 I'm set! So much power and so much quality tone... You can find the amp for 500 dollars online as well...

I heard a rumour with Fender Strat/Tele guitars that the MIM's were getting 'too good' in comparison to the MIA's and so people were buying them instead of the MIA's cos it was basically the same instrument for a fraction of the price. Could there be a similar thing with basses?

I really love the low B string... It's just a fat explosion of low end which I really like, obviously when used tastefully. I think the best use of it is a couple times for one off fills or notes per song. Dropping down a 4th from the E string is always really tasty.
