    Pick Guard Removal

    Some of the pickguards look great for sure, but I'm not to keen on white pickguards on sunburst finishes (which the new jazzes basses I've seen lately do not have :cool:). Perhaps that's just my taste, though!

    Thank you everyone for your insight so far, I really appreciate it. I know Sadowsky makes some beautiful basses that often don't have pickguards as well, but that can get a bit expensive. I do live very close to 'Bass Central', though... one day.... :ninja:

    90% of the time I play in a standard tuning (E standard, D standard). I really don't like drop tuning.

    I own a Schecter Stiletto Elite-4 that's made in Korea. I love it, I can use it for any genre, style, or technique (Slap, Pick, Fingers).

    Defretting a Neck-thru Bass?

    Thank you for the suggestion, however, I usually stick to 4 strings, and that is a bit on the expensive side for something I may end up not enjoying as much as I thought I would.
