    Fender Rumble 200 vs. 500?

OR...you can use the 200 watt Rumble as a preamp, into a Crown XLS1002 bridged (1100 watts into a 4 ohm load), and use 2 GK CX210 bass cabs (8 ohms each, 800 watts total). That's my bass rig. THUNDEROUS!

Double Bass Anyone tried the Phil Jones CAB-47?

I use 2 of the 27 cabs with a Peavey MiniMAX 500 watt head. Best small rig I've EVER had.

Fender Rumble 100 watts v3. Is it worth it?

A good DI would solve that problem. That's why I use a SansAmp BDDI.

Fender Rumble 100 watts v3. Is it worth it?

I'm obviously a little late for the party, but...I have 2 Rumble 100 V3's. I use a Peavey G Bass into a SansAmp BDDI, and then into the top amp input. I use a patch cable from the effects send of the top amp, into the effects return of the bottom amp, basically using just the power amp section...

    Quilter BB800- Disappointment

I used the Bass Block in conjunction with 2 of the Trace Elliot ELF 2X8" bass cabs. Tone for DAYS. I ran the "master" at 800 watts, and turned up the gain as needed...it sounded great.

    Rumble 100 V3

I would like to replace the 8 ohm speaker in my Rumble 100 V3, with a 4 ohm speaker. Can anyone tell me if I will get an increase in output/volume?

Please allow me to gush for a moment, I’m a combo convert. This Fender Rumble 500 is blowing me away

I removed the cheesy Chinese-made 16 ohm Eminence speakers from my Rumble 500 combo, and installed 2 American-made 8 ohm speakers. The amp is now a beast!

Double Bass TC Electronic BG250-208 Anyone tried?

Better late than never...I tried out the TC Electronic BG250-208 with a Trace Elliot 2X8 ELF bass ext cab that I own (I have 2)...makes a BIG difference across the whole audio spectrum. Plenty of low end and volume. I'm considering buying one, and using the ELF ext cab for larger venues. Keep it...

    Fender Rumble 800??

Hey TB'ers, I have one of these. I picked it up from a local Guitar Center on Tuesday...great tone AND headroom for days! I had a Quilter Bass Block, but the EQ features on the Rumble series gives me what I'm looking for...old school tone! I'm using 2 of the Trace Elliot Elf 2X8" bass cabs with...

    Brass bass body counterweights

On the back of the bass. No rear control cavity on Fender basses, so it fit the back of the body perfectly.

    Brass bass body counterweights

Thanks Jim. There is no other location to attach the strap button on the upper horn. The plate I'm "talking" about was a solid slab of brass, and it was made for Fender basses. Hopefully, someone else might be able to help me. Thanks again!

    Brass bass body counterweights

Good morning TBers...I'm trying to locate a brass bass body counterweight for my bass. The bass has a Moses Graphite MusicMan neck (which causes neck dive), but the body is an old Ibanez 700 series. The bass sounds fantastic (electronics are stock and VERY quiet) with the graphite neck, so I...

    Quilter Bass Block

I used a yoga mat, and cut it into the exact sizes I needed for my T.E. ELF 2X8" cabs. Works great for me.

    Trace Elliot Elf 2x8 cab

You should have no problem using your Peavey amp with the ELF bass cabs. However, they are only 10.25" wide, so your amp will probably hang over. I had the same problem with a Rumble 500 head, so I found a used Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. It fits perfectly on top of my stack. I recommend the Quilter...
