Tried it....it worked. Thanks for the info! As of yet, I've only used the factory presets, I havent really played around with it to create anything....yet....just seems strange that it just cut out like that but hey, it worked today. Thanks again

You assume correctly. I play with a wireless setup and was standing in front of the stage when the sound cut out. It's also plugged through a surge protector as well, and everything else that's on it is fine, so this one is strange.

Y'all, I could use some help with the GT-1B. It mostly stays in one place, I play at church weekly. We only play out a few times per year elsewhere, and so it doesn't get moved much. I don't use batteries, I plug it in. None of my connections have changed for months. But recently, I was...

Need some help, looking for direct replacement pickup size

I'll need to get out the tape measure next time I have my bass at home. It's on our stage right now. The natural satin one you linked is the exact one I have, and it is active. If you scroll through the photos on that link you'll see one of the back, with the oval shaped battery cover...

Need some help, looking for direct replacement pickup size

Hiya, I have an LTD F5E bass. I'm considering swapping out the pickups, and one of the options is Bartolini. I am looking to find out the exact dimensions so I can look for the proper size replacements. I bought the bass new, so it has the stock pickups in it now. First question, does...

Is there a "soulmate" bass design out there for everyone?

Funny, each time I thought I found "the one", and would play it for some time, something else would come along and grab my attention. But two in particular really stand out, and they are the two I currently have. First is my old faithful, ESP LTD F-5E. This thing is a mix of the metal look...

FINALLY!! I ordered this from Guitar Center on 12/20, they told me it would be here in 3-5 business days. Just showed up today, but it was really worth the wait....

$1.5k to spend on a fretless

I'd also check into Kiesel too, they are out of CA and took over the Carvin line of guitars. They make some sweet instruments. Only experience I have even touching the brand new Kiesels is from a guy who bought a Vader 5 string.....that thing was just plain awesome imo. They make both bolt on...

Please share your favorite settings and sounds....just picked this up

After using Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live for some years, it finally quit on me and I thought I'd try something a little different. So, I grabbed what's in the pic below. Anyone else with one of these, what are your favorite sounds with it? Thanks in advance

"Official" Carvin and Kiesel Club - Part 3

That bass looks massively cool...as soon as I saw that design come out I have been watching them. Only a matter of time before I pony up the $$$ for one myself. For now, I'm just impatiently waiting for my AC50 to arrive from shipping....lol

"Official" Carvin and Kiesel Club - Part 3

Well, add my name to the list.... No pics yet, but it is paid for, it is mine, and it is on its way to me as we speak. I picked up something I've always wanted this week--a very nice looking AC50 fretless. I've wanted one of these for just about ever and finally, opportunity and bank account...

    (almost)New Bass Day!!!!

This is what happens when I'm too excited because after wanting one of these for many years, I'm finally in the position to get one. And then.....as life would happen, the company stopped making them earlier this year. So....all I could do is search for one on the used market. Thing is, I...

    Can anyone identify this bass?

OK, so I've learned that the headstock design comes from the 1980s. That's it so far....any other info would be appreciated.
