    I had mine wired -T= Tip, R=Sleeve, S=Ring. That's why I thought it may be some other parts touching inside. I'll give it a few days and see what happens.

    Are any part of the wires that are bare and/or solder tags on the pots touching each other ? I've noticed some very quick battery drain recently and on inspection I suspect this is what might been happening. I'm tightening up the pots again in a slightly different direction.

    I have a NS4CRFM loaded with a LHZ Hazlabs clone, Alnico EMGX into a 1176 type Cali76 big box lundhdal comp. I set at 4:1 with slow attack / fast release and a low input to only tame the very hard hits, too much and it can squash the dynamic range.
