Fun Black Friday thing we've been working on for a very long time.
I thought that one side pic of this in another post on their IG was possibly signs of a transformer. Now I see that it is a battery drawer. I wonder if its a fuzz!!!? Maybe something from 1980? A rat or muff variant possibly?? Can't wait for the reveal....

A Damnation Rat with a dirt knob that increases distortion while keeping the volume the same + the contoured blend of the latest MBD + tone functionality would be amazing
Oh hell yes. A Damnation rat would be awesome. I know by now the rat has been done by almost everyone. But still. So has OD and dist! haha
I've been using a Fuzzro Rat Tail for years now. Love that pedal. It grinds like no other. I swap my Blower Box in there from time to time because that too is one of my all time favs. But that Rat Tail just sings in my bands mix. It would be really cool to see what Jeff and company would/could do with a rat.

We have considered some "us also" products like this. When we have debated the pros and cons this type of product has yet to get priority over our original designs. We make the Dirt Fixer and Dirt Mixer so we don't need to make a rat and a muff and a tube screamer and all the other "this classic circuit but for bass" pedals and the customer doesn't need to buy all those specialty $200+ pedals either. You can grab one of our blender products and have the perfect rat/muff/etc... for bass on demand.

Would it surprise you to know we have been through multiple different iterations of this design since that one was dubbed "final?" Jeff has really been putting a bunch of variants through the ringer in his band and I think we're there but until we wire the finished pedals up its subject to change! They will be beautiful when we get there though.

Definitely a unique position to have in the world of pedals, and I dig it!

Picked up a dirt fixer, not sure why I slept on getting one for so long with how much I dig the MBD. Should be here soon...
Also waiting on a Bongripper v2 via a trade to try with it as a rat option, and am really curious how it'll sound with my Science Mother (channel 2), EAE Longsword, 3leaf doom 2, and green Russian too

I think the mid bands on the Dirt Fixer are on either side of the Longsword mid band so you'll have control over three separate mid freqs between the two circuits which is a lot of control for revoicing to suit your rig.
Ok, I definitely messed up by not getting the Dirtfixer sooner. This thing rules!
Got the Bongripper V2 I traded for at the same time and have the dirtfixer set up as Longsword -> Bongripper -> Green Russian muff w alchemy audio mids mod and it's all absolutely insaaaaane.
idk even know how to describe how much of a game changer this thing is, and how helpful it is to have as a tool on the board vs messing with EQ and swapping pedals out constantly... Maybe it's just the honeymoon phase, but I doubt it, and I can probably mostly end my dirt hunt (aside from the new Damnation 80 pedal, want that for my smaller more "normal" board) since wanting to adjust small characteristics of dirt I really like to get them just so has led to swapping between things up until now.
I've got a depth charge clone build in the works via @mdalamond, which will likely take the place of the green Russian and not need to be in the loop. We'll see! I'll try it in vs out.

Question about the Dirtfixer for those of you who have one - do you find yourself requiring different settings on it depending on which dirt pedal you are "fixing"? That's my biggest concern. My current bass dirt selection has no loss of lows or anything, but we all know there are plenty of great guitar pedals that would sound great on bass if they could be "fixed". As well as plenty of bass pedals that can be improved!
