Damnation Audio Fan/Appreciation Thread

Not moaning about it, just I too find myself wanting to hit the boost opposed to the engage at times when I want to engage the 3. I'm still getting used to it haha. But its not a big deal. It actually works better the way I have it set up on my board as it's in the lower left corner. But hey, you can't ever seem to please most on TB  :eyebrow:

Really loving the JAM Rattler with the DirtFixer. Great low to medium gain, getting into Thrice bass tone territory.

You won't bias mine as I've spent enough time with all three

I thought you had but was awaiting a new post.

I saw that pic and instantly thought "the 1 is STILL my fav of all time, but the 3 is amazing too because of that boost!"... Notice I left out the 2. I still have mine, but I rarely play it. Idk what it is about that one but to my ear it sounds quite different. Like the gain is harsher or more brittle if that makes sense. I'm sure I can approximate some of the same sounds I get from the 1 and or 3 with the 2, but I didn't feel like messing with it enough.

And I still prefer the 1 to the 3 even but the 3 has the boost, is slightly smaller and can get very close in gain and tone to the 1. Close enough that I don't miss the 1 much. The 1 is still my fav but it sits on my second board that is usually only played at home. I think I did try it on my main board and it still sounded great. Just didn't physically fit on there the way I have stuff arranged on there. TONS of love for the 1, LOTS o love for the 3, a LIL love for the 2 haha I guess that's my rating scale for 1-3. They all stick rock out with their c***s out, just depends on what flavor of....... well..... rock you want hahaha 🤣 😂 🤣

Yeah, I love them all, but always found the 1 and 3 warmer than the 2.

I'll give my assessment eventually.
Just need to organize my thoughts on each in a more cohesive manner.

Quick take,
I like all three, and find enough versatility that I could run all in different ways.

The 2 would be my choice for much higher gain usage.
The 1 would be my go-to for low gain tones.
The 3 would be my choice for a different flavored low gain OD with the boost set for a mid gain setting.
