Question about the Dirtfixer for those of you who have one - do you find yourself requiring different settings on it depending on which dirt pedal you are "fixing"?

Short answer is yes. But that’s, to me, to be expected, as I had the same consideration when using the BLOOP. So in the end I tend to use pedals that need similar “fixing” or minor tweaks from the others in the loop, and if the adjustment is too extreme, I move on.

That's exactly my fear (and what I figured) - knowing me I'd have to end up getting numerous Dirtfixers, and I'm trying to be financially responsible AND keep my board's size down!

I think it depends on how dramatically you transform the sound of whatever is in the loop. If you massively reshape the sound of a pedal you might not use the same settings for something else. But lots of pedals benefit from the same mild tweaks like adding the contoured blend, a bit more bass on the drive, and a bit less low mid. It really depends on context.

I would agree with this. I find myself tweaking between the different pedals. If it’s a drastic adjustment, then it’s unlikely to be the right fit.

I never thought I’d need to have more than one Dirtfixer just whether I use the BLOOP or DF, but then again, I rarely have more than 5 pedals in my chain.

+1, so far I have found myself adding the contoured blend, reducing low mid, and adding more bass + high mid + treble to taste - nothing extreme on the latter, so it works across several pedals in the loop.

Got some compliments on my tone after my first gig with the dirtfixer... Someone noticed I was running a pretty dirty rat style sound (Bongripper) for one track but still carrying the bass, so I can now confirm it also works out front hah

Yes it did. Extremely useful pedal that I kick on to get instant tone change. I didn’t really understand what it did at first but quickly found a way to make it work at certain times. Really like it.
