I guess we need to make an Mosfet Bass No Distortion for all the gain at 9:00 and boost at minimum folks.
Just make one with a straight pass-through from input to output and call it the MBD Placebo.

This is the correct answer. Then - fill bigger board, wash, rinse, and repeat.
If you MUST keep the smaller board, I'd say swap an MBD - whichever is ranked #2 for you - for the Spite Box and have a variety of tones on the smaller board.
