Dude, for a brief moment, I thought you were me, because I took this picture yesterday. My bass is a "HK" (HeKe-Vertrieb), though, the only difference is the sticker on the headstock. There was a swedish brand selling these basses under their name, too, it was Woodo Guitars, I think.

I don't really know about any but the B string will help if you don't want to detune your bass, and there are loads of Drop-D classic rock songs. Try "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2" by Pink Floyd for example.

There are a lot... I really enjoy playing Bloodmeat and Sequoia Throne by Protest the Hero and Dead & Grotesque by Spawn of Possession. Also YYZ by Rush is really fun to play! Punk songs like Maxwell Murder by Rancid of 'Merican by Descendents... Roundabout by Yes probably is but I never learn...

Just my HK. And I love it, it's almost everything I need. Sometimes I feel like I need one or two frets more or a low F#, but I can't live with that. Sure it would be good to have a fretless twin or a back-up or a slap machine, but I don't really need it!!
