A Hondo Jazz Bass. It came with covers on the bridge and neck pickups. These covers were high quality, but the rest of the bass was so cheap. Screws would come off because the wood was so soft. I still have the body in a disassemled state.
Vantage Avenger. New early '82. Ash body, maple neck P pickup. Followed 18 months latter by an Ibanez Musician that was so heavy it permanently stuffed up my back and left shoulder.
Yamaha RB-X, which was the victim of my first attempted defretting job, as well as pickup switch. It lives under may bed now dead.

That one looks extremely close to my first bass. Also no-name-made-in-japan. I remember just one pickup and I think there were some pointy extras to the pickguard. Bought it with just an A string on it. I couldn't afford a string set, so I did the first month's on only one string. Later I replaced the microphonic pickup with a second hand P pickup I got for steal from a local music store. Turned out to be an actual late seventies Fender pickup. I can't say it did improve the bass much.
Mine was an ('97) Encore Precision in red with a white scratch plate and it weighed a tonne! Good times 
Squier SQ-series P-bass, early 80s.
VERY nice condition (this was in maybe '90/'91), white and black pickguards included. Eventually I decided it was a "good idea" to rip the frets out, add a jazz pickup and get at tort pg. Sure, it looked ok, but I wish I hade kept it original... Don't remember where it went now.

Mine was a pawn shop special, it was a red epiphone don't remember the model or year of it probably early 80s late 70s. It was faded red and it had scratches and dents all over it. It had a bad wear mark on the back it appeared to he from a huge belt buckle. Any way I was 10 I didn't care. It got me hooked cause here I am 38 and still thumping away.
Mine was a Hondo P bass in a light blue. I dont remember a whole lot about that bass. I traded it plus cash to my instructor for a Guild B301 and played that for 22 years.
Mapel Glo 1972 Rick 4001. Still in my harem as well and used on all the Rock and or Roll I can play.
Mid-80s MIT Yamaha BB300. Still have it, still love it. Honestly, if circumstances forced me to sell off all of my instruments but one - or I had to grab only one in the proverbial house-fire hypothetical - that is the one I'd keep, over all the more "respectable" instruments I've acquired since.
