I'm no lawyer, but wouldn't that be a violation of fair use? The only argument I can really see them making is that he's using the original artist's material in the video if he's playing along to the song(s).

The short answer would be no. If anything the drop in current(amperage) required to maintain the same wattage at a higher voltage would most likely be percieved as a drop in sound level. -Johnny
